About the event
Join us for a magical evening at one of Cache Valley’s original homesteads. The historic Schiess Ranch is a permanently conserved property through a partnership with BRLC, making it a sanctuary of open space, wildlife habitat, and agricultural history. As landowner Sheri Schiess puts it, they wanted to keep this land green and today it is proudly "the last piece of green in Nibley."
Please join us for a rare opportunity to visit this property to learn all about wool growing, spinning, and dying. With demonstrations as well as hands-on activities, this event will be fun for the whole family! We will even be dying the wool with ingredients harvested from the ranch. Rollin' West BBQ will be on site to provide delicious BBQ at no cost to you!
This event is FREE, but space is limited; precise location (in Nibley) will be provided after filling out the RSVP form.
